F5 Integrates AI Assistant into F5 Distributed Cloud Services
The solution aims to become ‘an intelligent partner, reducing response times from days to minutes’.
F5 announces the integration of an artificial intelligence (AI) assistant into F5 Distributed Cloud Services with the aim of boosting network visibility and control over security. It will assist SecOps and NetOps teams in their roles.
The wizard has been trained on F5 network event data, runs on F5 AI Data Fabric and features a natural language interface.
It automates tasks and personalises queries, provides recommendations, accelerates zero-day threat response, and offers instant and on-demand security event summaries.
‘There have never been so many applications and APIs to maintain, nor a wider area of deployment environments to monitor. Now more than ever, SecOps and NetOps teams need the right tools to ensure they are aware of the dangers threatening their network,’ said Jose Manuel Flores, solutions engineer at F5.
‘Our AI assistant is designed around their needs,’ he notes. ‘It can be where human teams can’t. It’s based on information and training data. It is based on information and training data from a broad spectrum of organisations facing the same threats and is fully customisable, allowing engineers to extract the exact reports and data they need, as well as suggesting actions.’
‘We realise how overstretched network and security teams are currently,’ continues Flores. ‘The AI assistant can act as an intelligent partner, reducing response times from days to minutes to ensure critical assets remain protected and security breaches are addressed quickly.’
‘Network and security teams will benefit from making AI a consistent part of their workflow,’ opines the solutions engineer, ’allowing them to deploy resources efficiently and respond quickly to critical threats.’
