Motorola is launching its new premium smartphone, the Motorola edge 40 pro, which stands out for details such as its borderless curved glass display and its IP68 protection seal at a price of 599 euros.
The phone, 7.58 mm thick, sports a 6.55-inch pOLED panel with Full HD+ resolution, 144 Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ certification, and DCI-P3 colour gamut.
As for IP68, it certifies its resistance to the action of dust, dirt, sand or falls in fresh water.
Its camera system also stands out, with a 50 MP main sensor that includes an f/1.4 aperture. It also has a 13 MP ultra-wide-angle lens with macro and a 32 MP selfie camera.
The device is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 8020 chipset, which offers 5G network connectivity, 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, and 256GB UFS 3.15 storage.
Its 4400 mAh battery supports 68W TurboPower fast charging that promises all-day power after ten minutes of power. It also supports 15W wireless charging.
Other features include the Android 13 operating system with functionality such as the Moto Secure app, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos sound, and Motorola Spatial Sound technology.
