NetApp Receives AAA Rating for Innovative AI-enabled Ransomware Detection Solution

NetApp today announced that its NetApp ONTAP® Autonomous Ransomware Protection with Artificial Intelligence (ARP/AI) solution has received a AAA rating from SE Labs, an independent rating agency that specialises in evaluating security products and services. NetApp ARP/AI protection has demonstrated 99% effectiveness in detecting ransomware with no false positives.

SE Labs subjected the NetApp ARP/AI solution to extensive testing against hundreds of known ransomware variants. The results were outstanding: the solution detected 99% of advanced ransomware attacks and achieved 100% detection of legitimate files, with no false positives. This underscores its effectiveness in enterprise environments, without contributing to alert fatigue.
