New ITOM SaaS Solutions and New European Data Centre from OpenText

OpenText, the leading Canadian enterprise content management company, recently announced the addition of a new data centre in the European Union to expand its software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions in the European market. This new data centre is designed to comply with EU data privacy and security regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), ensuring the sovereignty of its customers’ data.

OpenText is a global company that delivers enterprise software solutions in the cloud, with the goal of helping organisations simplify and automate their business processes. To support its growing customer base and increasing demand, OpenText has invested in geography-specific data centres, with the EU centre being its most recent addition. Among the solutions that will be supported through the EU data centre is a suite of SaaS ITOM offerings.

Artificial intelligence integration

OpenText ITOM solutions are based on the integrated AI-based OPTIC platform to optimise IT efficiency and performance. With these new SaaS solutions, OpenText offers customers a faster path to the OpenText solutions they rely on. These solutions include Service Management Automation X (SMAX), a simplified and affordable advanced ITSM solution to modernise the service management experience, increase IT agility and help keep costs and risks under control.

In addition OpenText also offers IT automation solutions, such as Operations Bridge, which combines AI and automation to provide an AIOps solution that increases IT performance and productivity. Hybrid Cloud Management X (HCMX) is another solution offered by OpenText, which helps organisations manage their cloud resources effectively, from provisioning to cost control. Also available is HCMX FinOps Express, the financial management solution to optimise cloud costs, reduce waste and control spending.

OpenText has also launched solutions for IT asset management, such as Asset Management X (AMX), which offers next-generation hardware, software and portfolio asset management. Universal Discovery and Universal CMDB are other configuration management solutions for hybrid IT, which discovers, maps and manages IT configurations. Finally, Data Center Automation automates IT compliance and vulnerability risk management.
