SoftwareOne Acquires Application Solutions Provider Medalsoft
This acquisition allows it to strengthen its business strategy in the Asia-Pacific region.
SoftwareOne announces the acquisition of Medalsoft. Headquartered in Shanghai with 160 employees, the company specializes in cloud application solutions and is a Microsoft Cloud partner with six competencies.
It mainly serves multinationals in sectors such as industrial, retail and life sciences.
With this provider in its possession, SoftwareOne will be able to continue its expansion strategy in the Asia-Pacific region.
“The rapid growth of the digital economy in China offers us a significant opportunity to accelerate our momentum in the region,” says Raphael Erb, president of SoftwareOne in Asia-Pacific, in this regard.
“With our track record in China, this acquisition unlocks further growth potential by enhancing our services and expanding our delivery capabilities,” Erb notes. “More importantly, it also allows us to leverage our existing partnerships, especially with Microsoft China.”
Danny Huang, CEO and co-founder of Medalsoft, has also commented on this transaction of which no financial details are known.
