Vertiv Acquires Technology from Centrifugal Chiller Manufacturer BSE
The Chinese company specialises in chillers, heat pumps, heat recovery solutions and air handling units.
Vertiv has reached an agreement with BSE to acquire assets from the Chinese manufacturer of chillers, heat pumps, heat recovery solutions and air handling units.
It will acquire technology from a company that stands out for its oil-free, water-cooled and air-cooled centrifugal chillers with magnetic bearings.
Vertiv thus strengthens its portfolio of critical solutions. It also strengthens its presence in Asia and gains industrial patents and R&D capabilities as well as technology solutions.
‘This acquisition reinforces our capital allocation strategy, which includes adding early stage technologies to our portfolio,’ says Giordano Albertazzi, CEO of Vertiv.
‘BSE’s solutions and technologies complement and strengthen the existing portfolio of chillers,’ he says, ’and will help us respond to the growing demand for air and liquid cooling for artificial intelligence and high-performance computing applications.’
